CCCM - Day 3

As usual we started our day with a walk around the area until we reached our usual breakfast port. There were 4 restaurants that opened early morning as we would always meet the masjid gang lepak here. Our simple usual breakfast was :-

My choice of breakfast was a little bit of fried mee, 3 pieces of nasi himpit, rendang and egg
Wah had nasi himpit (she could eat this everyday) with lots of sambal and the yummy kueh seri kaya
Kak Haj had her favourite roti jala with curry
Lunch was at Wondermama restaurant. It was recommended by the programme "Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan". It's at Bangsar Village - an upscale and posh shopping mall for those who could afford it or wanted to be seen with the hip crowd. Well, we wandered around, window-shopped and took photos. Wah's office is here. So, she's very familiar with this place. Kak Hajar used to live here during her KL working years. I came here once a long time ago when I was schooling during the holidays. Of course I could not remember anything except Lucky Garden.

The menu - this restaurant was visited by "Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan"
My coice was the nyonya curry laksa (nice) and Wah had the spaghetti olio
After mulling over her choice, Kak Haj finally chose "Lady's choice" - a mixed plate of spaghetti bolognaise, fried salmon cutlets, salad, chips and papaya salad
Later, before returning to Wah's place we dropped by the goreng pisang stall and bought some for tea. Well...it was a food trail holiday !!! :-D))  That night we waited for Ikram to join us for dinner. It was raining in Shah Alam so he was quite late. Anyway, we had a simple dinner at Mesra Kelana restaurant in Kelana Jaya.

Goreng pisang nangka, pisang abu, keladi and sukun
Mix vegetable with rice
Wah's beef kueteow
Ikram's rice with lemon chicken and omelette
Beef kueteow with ginger
Thus, another day of food trail ended. Alhamdulillah for all the food. For smoothening our journey and mission. For Ikram to join us. For the weather. For the strength and patience for me to make this trip pleasant for my sisters. For our love, patience and tolerance of each other. May tomorrow be a better day, insyaAllah.
